Hi, I’m Lauren Bernard—elementary school teacher and founder of Olive Ink.
Olive Ink began in March 2020, when I pulled out my watercolors and started painting. Inspired by my online students, I found it grounding to capture what I saw and felt during such an uncertain time. Sharing my art with my students reminded us all that some things remain steady: humor, connection, and self-expression.
Today, Olive Ink offers cards, stickers, and calendars filled with warmth and personality. Based in Seattle, WA, you can find my work at Metropolitan Market, Bobby Jo’s Mercantile, Third Place Books, seasonal pop-ups— and at Lundeen’s in Culver City, CA.
