Hi! I'm Lauren Bernard — elementary school teacher and artist behind Olive Ink.

Olive Ink began in March 2020 when I pulled out my watercolors and started painting. Inspired by the students I was teaching online, it felt grounding to capture what I saw and felt in the midst of the uncertainty. I shared my art with my students, assuring them that some things remain steady: humor, connection, and self-expression.
