Hi! I'm Lauren Bernard, artist, teacher, and founder of Olive Ink.
Olive Ink started in March 2020, when I pulled out my watercolors and started painting. Inspired by my students during online teaching, it became a way to slow down, pay attention and make sense of a strange and uncertain time.
As I shared my work with my students, I realized these little paintings gave people something to hold onto: humor, connection, comfort, and ways to say things we don’t always have words for.
I still sketch and paint from everyday life, exploring joy, love, big feelings, and the funny, tender mess of being human.
Today, Olive Ink includes cards, stickers, and calendars, and you can find my work in shops around Seattle and at seasonal pop-ups.
If you'd like to stock Olive Ink, collaborate, or place a custom order, I'd love to connect. oliveinkshop@gmail.com
I'm so glad you found your way here.
